Breeder Cup Trial was one of the main events of the day and it’s fair to say one of those a lot of people were looking forward to. Of course I was very much so as Stinger is from “my” stable (Bechmann) and it’s always exciting to see your own horses hopefully do well. On top there were another favorite horse in the race – you guessed it Karma. And luck would have it that exsactly those two were the ones fighting till the end. Not more than maybe one step between them.
Have a look at the photos. Personally I think they look remarkably similar and that’s not at random as they share the same father Academy Award (IRE) who sadly is no longer with us and neither are both of these geldings mothers unfortunately, and they’re both bred at Hjortebo. They made everyone proud and I got a good selection of photos of these lovely guys.
